Sweet Bonanza Xmas by Pragmatic Play
Sweet Bonanza Xmas is a holiday-themed online slot from Pragmatic Play, bringing a seasonal makeover to the hugely recognisable Sweet Bonanza format. The game swaps the original bright candy-land presentation for snowy scenery, decorated trees, wrapped gifts and festive treats. Under the wintery design is a fast-moving cluster-pays slot with cascading wins, tumbling symbols and the potential for large multiplier combinations.
Instead of conventional paylines, winning combinations are created when eight or more matching symbols land anywhere on the 6x5 reel area. Each winning cluster disappears, allowing new symbols to drop into place. This can create several wins from one paid spin, especially when multiplier symbols join the action.

How to Play Sweet Bonanza Xmas
Choose a stake using the betting controls beneath the reels, then press the spin button to begin. The game’s minimum and maximum stake levels can differ between casino versions, so always check the on-screen settings before playing.
A round pays when at least eight identical symbols land anywhere in view. Lower-value symbols include colourful treats, while premium symbols are represented by fruit such as grapes, watermelons, apples, bananas and plums. The more matching symbols that appear in the same spin, the higher the prize level.
When a winning cluster appears, those symbols are removed and the remaining spaces are filled with new symbols. This tumble mechanic continues until no further winning combinations land. It means one spin can develop into a sequence of consecutive payouts.
Free Spins and Multiplier Bombs
The main Sweet Bonanza Xmas bonus round begins when four or more scatter symbols land. Players receive 10 free spins, with the chance to retrigger extra rounds when additional scatters appear. The free spins feature is where the game’s most exciting win potential is usually found.
During free spins, multiplier bombs can land on the reels. These special symbols may carry values ranging from 2x up to 100x. At the end of a winning tumble sequence, all multiplier values visible on the screen are added together and applied to the total win from that sequence. Several bombs landing together can therefore create a powerful boost.
Multiplier bombs may also appear in the base game, although the bonus round generally offers more opportunities to see them in play. In markets where it is available, the bonus purchase feature lets players pay an additional amount to enter the free spins round immediately. This option is intended for players who specifically want bonus action, but it should always be used responsibly and within a planned budget.
